Ingredients
- 2 cans of cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 slices of freshly toasted wholegrain bread
For the tomato sauce
- 200g passata
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 1 tbsp tamari
- 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
- black pepper to season
Instructions
- Mix together the ingredients for the tomato sauce, and bring to the boil.
- Add the beans and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve on warm wholegrain toast.
