Cacao nut truffles

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup of coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ¼ cup cacao nibs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ a cup chopped hazelnuts
  • ¼ cup ground almonds
  • desiccated coconut (for decoration)

Instructions

  • Melt the coconut oil in a medium-sized pan.
  • Remove from heat and stir in all other ingredients (except desiccated coconut).
  • Bind together with your hands (add a little water if they are not forming shape) into small balls.
  • While still warm, coat with desiccated coconut.
  • Freeze for at least 10-15 minutes until firm.
  • Keep refrigerated.
