Ingredients

  • 250g organic oats (GF if required)
  • 50g dates
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 25g chopped walnuts
  • 150g apple

Instructions

  • Line a deep square or rectangular dish or baking tray.
  • Place a frying pan on medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Heat until melted.
  • Add the oats and stir until it is coated with the oil, remove from the direct heat.
  • Chop the apples, walnuts and slice the dates into bite-sized pieces.
  • Stir the walnuts, apples and dates into the oat mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into your pre-prepared dish.
  • Leave in the fridge for at least one hour or until set.
  • Remove from the fridge and slice into 12 bars.
  • Serve two bars per person.
